Payroll - Ghost Employees, Analysis, and Duplicates

Performs Payroll Review tests. Flag employees who may be getting paid but do not actually exist. Flags employees getting paid an amount different from the active salary amount according to their most recent pay adjustment. Identify salary adjustments that are anomalies in comparison to company average. Identify duplicate payments to employees, and anomalies with bonuses or overtime.

Input Requirements

• An employee population file sourced from your HRIS or HCM system (Workday, SAP, ADP, Ultipro, etc.).

• A payroll history file sourced from your HRIS or HCM system (Workday, SAP, ADP, Ultipro, etc.).

• Parameters

  1. Most Recent Pay Period: Period to dictate the most recent pay period

  2. Salary Increase Threshold: Threshold that, if exceeded by a salary adjustment, is flagged

  3. File Input Parameters

Output Expectations

• A population of employees that are being paid that are considered non-existent identified for follow up.

• A population of employees being paid an amount that differs from your salary adjustment expectations identified for follow up.

• An identification of duplicate employee payments.

• A population of employees' bonuses or overtime transactions considered anomalous.

• An identification of salary adjustments considered non-standard or exceeding the threshold.
