Terminated User Access Testing

Identifies recently terminated users and validates whether they have appropriate system permission. Additionally, it identities users who have recently changed roles and may have been inappropriately provisioned to a system.

Input Requirements

  • An employee active directory file sourced from your HRIS or HCM system (Workday, SAP, ADP, Ultipro, etc.)

  • An employee termination file sourced from your HRIS or HCM system (Workday, SAP, ADP, Ultipro, etc.)

  • Various User population files sourced from your HRIS, ERP, or HCM systems

  • Parameters

    1. Start Date: Date on which you wish the period you are reviewing to begin

    2. End Date: Date on which you wish the period you are reviewing to end

    3. Timeliness threshold: amount of days between termination and access revocation you'd consider to be timely

Output Expectations

  • A determination if access has been correctly revoked based upon a judgement between your termination file and various other system listings.

  • A determination on timeliness of access revocation based upon your timeliness threshold.
