Import is a grouping of tools. These tools represent datasets being brought on to the workflow canvas. Importing one or more datasets is generally the first thing a user will do in a new workflow. As a general rule, import tools sit on the left side of a workflow canvas.

Bring your data into an AuditBoard Analytics workflow with an Import tool. Import data from a flat file (CSV or XLSX) by adding the Import File tool to your canvas. For those getting started, the Import Sample Data tool is a great way to grab a quick, test dataset.
