Financial Account Variance Analysis

Performs a financial account variance analysis. It flags variances in trial balance amounts over an identified threshold.

Input Requirements

• A prior period trial balance file sourced from your ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).

• A current period trial balance file sourced from your ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).

• Parameters

  1. Variance Threshold: threshold amount in which you'd like to flag accounts if exceeded

  2. File Input Parameters

Output Expectations

• A population of trial balance items that exceeded your variance threshold period over period.

• A check figure to ensure your trial balance nets to zero.
